hmm.. i wonder wad to say now.

i am having a very bad toothache now and it simply sucks big time!

so, if i were to tell jimmy the above phrase in chinese, it will be,

我现在牙很痛，而且它吸大时间!

all right... WTF?!

sucks big time = 吸大时间. (i couldnt find something more accurate than this liao)

therefore,

"you suck" = 你吸.
"you sucked" = 你吸了. (note: past tense of suck = sucked. and sucked simly means the 'suck' already took place, therefore, 'sucked'. in this example, 'ni xi le' simply described the 'suck' action already taken place. hence the translation.)

based on the above translation, i've come up with:

"you sucked big time" = 你吸了大时间. (fully translated. LOL. i cant imagine writing this in my chinese compo back then in sec sch. i bet ng ching ing's gonna photocopy my work for the whole class, censoring my name and make a copy on transparency and go tru with the class luffing at my work. that was wad she loved to do back then. hahaha.)

tml my last day. argh.

i'll come up with more english to chinese translations articles this coming week as i'll be free from work liao.
